Dragon Boat Event, July 2011, Doncaster Lakeside
Katherine and Nathan joined Doncaster Tourism and the Rotary Club of Doncaster St George’s at Doncaster Lakeside on 23rd July for the Dragon Boat Event. Again they set about two canvases and invited the public to join in with them on their paintings. They also set up an activity area for the kids to join in. Many painted the boats as they were racing. For more info click here
Success at the Doncaster Museum Open Art Exhibition
Congratulations to Natalie Marsh from Katherine's Monday Art Class who won the Young Artist's prize. A group painting by the Brevon Studio Artists was well placed in the exhibition and Terry Chipp won a prize for a highly commended piece of work. The Brevon Studio Artists
The Brevon Studio Artists have definitely started something. Their individual styles of drip, smudge and triple zero gel well into one collaborative style of painting.
